
Upon arrival and each afternoon Bed and Breakfast guests will be treated to fresh shade grown coffee, fragrant teas, and
HOMEMADE PIES
freshly baked daily with fruit from our orchard.
Shirlene has won over 100 blue ribbons for her pies.
A full gourmet breakfast is served family style each morning.
Breakfast with other guests provides a unique opportunity
to share tips onbirding areas or hiking trails. We will
accommodate special dietary requirements. Please let us
know about your needs when you check in.
For the early birders, we will be happy to provide
coffee, tea, muffins, fruit or cereal.
We are striving to be as organic and green as possible.
We are now using local pesticide-free eggs,
certified organic coffee, and whenever possible,

We now have free wi-fi and free long distance calling in the great room.

The Great Room provides Inn guests a pleasant place to gather, update birding lists, plan a hike, simply relax by our cozy fireplace with a book, or watch wildlife through the large picture windows. Our front porch is a favorite spot to relax and watch birds at our many feeders.

Each guestroom has a private bath
and is delightfully furnished and decorated
with antiques, giving the inn a warm country feeling.
All rooms are designed for one or two persons.

The Rufous Room on the main floor and has a queen-size bed. From the bedroom window you can see the garden area where the hummingbirds love to bathe in the cascading spray of the fountain. This room has a bathtub/shower for those who like to relax in a tub after a day of
hiking or birdwatching. Rate: $135

The Magnificent Room on the main floor has a king-size bed. This room has a private balcony overlooking the orchard where you may watch our bird feeders or catch a glimpse of deer, coatimundi, squirrels or even a small black bear munching on the fruit. Rate: $150

The Costa's Room on the main floor, has a king-size bed and features a private balcony overlooking the orchard and part of the garden area where you can enjoy watching the birds at the feeders or just listening to the sounds of the creek. This room includes a bathtub/shower for those who prefer relaxing in the tub after a day on the trails. Rate: $150

The Anna's Room is upstairs and has a king-size bed. This room is on
the creek side of the Inn overlooking the orchard and front yard.
Rate: $150

The Blue-throated Room is upstairs and has two double beds. This room is on the creek side of the Inn overlooking the orchard and part of the garden area. Rate: $150

The Calliope Room is upstairs and has two double beds. From this room you can see the high bronzed rock cliffs where you might catch a glimpse of a Golden Eagle soaring. Rate: $150

We cannot accommodate children under 16 in the Main House. However, children are welcome in the
Creekside Housekeeping Suites

Walk from the Creek-side Suites to the Main Lodge...
There is a two-night minimum stay in the Suites .
Each of our 3 Housekeeping Suites offers larger quarters and a
true retreat, accommodating up to 4 people. Situated on the creek,
the suites offer an opportunity for an intimate experience with
the canyon and its wildlife. Each suite has a bedroom, a fully
equipped kitchen and a living area. Breakfast is not available to
ckeekside suite guests but they are welcome to enjoy our pies.
Linens paper goods and dish soap are provided,
just bring your own food. Charcoal grills are also available.

The Tanager Suite and The Oriole Suite are both 500 square feet
and have a queen-size bed in the bedroom and a queen-size futon
in the living area. Floor plans mirror eachother.
Rate: 2 - guests $150, 3-4 guests $165.

The Trogon Suite is upstairs and is 1000 square feet. This Suite was specially designed for the discriminating guest desiring a larger more private area. Featuring a king-size bed in the bedroom, a queen-size
sofa bed in the living room, a beautiful open kitchen, dining area
and living room. Every window has a nice view, you can see the high bronzed cliffs from the bedroom. There is a porch where you can
barbecue or just sit and watch the neighborhood birds and animals.
This suite has a washer and dryer.
Rate: 2 - guests $200, 3-4 - guests $225.

Reservation hours are Monday through Saturday, 10:00 am to 5:00pm or you may book on line.
Rates are subject to local sales tax. Prices are effective April 2, 2008 and are subject to change without notice.
A deposit of 50% of the total rent is required on all reservations and must be paid when reservation is made. If only staying for one night the full amount is due. MasterCard, Visa, Discover, personal checks, traveler's checks and cash are accepted.
Cancellations and Refunds - If you must cancel a reservation, your deposit less a $25.00 processing fee will be refunded only if we are notified 14 days or more prior to arrival date. Cancellations received less than 14 days prior to arrival are nonrefundable. Guests are responsible for payment of all nights reserved regardless of actual arrival or departure time.
Group Reservations are welcome. Group deposit and cancellation policy is available upon request.
Arrival and Departure - Guests may check in between 3:00 PM and 5:00pm, later or earlier check-ins by prior arrangements. Check out time is 11:00 am
Smoking is permitted in the picnic area only. All rooms in the Inn and Suites are non-smoking.
Pets are not permitted in the Inn or Suites or on the Preserve, we will be happy to refer you to local boarding facilities if you are traveling with a pet.
Gift Certificates are available and may be used any time within 12 months of purchase date. Your hosts will be happy to help with arrangements for special occasions.
