Hummingbirds are here from March through September, with the peak in mid-July through August. Anna's Hummingbird stays year-round. For peak weeks, book six to eight weeks ahead.

Children under 13 aren't permitted in the Inn's rooms, but children of all ages are welcome in Gray Hawk Retreat and the Suites, which each have their own kitchens or kitchenettes.

Pets aren't permitted in the Inn, the Suites, Gray Hawk Retreat, or on the Ramsey Canyon Preserve. We're happy to refer you to local boarding facilities.

Yes. For guests staying at the Inn, we keep a common-area hospitality pantry — individually packaged cottage-food treats, fruit, grab-and-go snacks, and coffee, tea, and cocoa — available whenever you like, and the Inn's shared kitchen is open to its lodging guests. The independently owned suites and Gray Hawk Retreat have their own kitchens or kitchenettes.

Yes. Costa's Room is our wheelchair-accessible room at the Inn, on the first floor with a private balcony. Tell us your needs when you book and we'll help.

The wildlife photo blind is located at the independently owned Suites (Tanager, Oriole, and Eagle's Nest), and it's available to guests staying in the suites upon making prior arrangements with ownership. It's a morning blind (about sunrise until 2 PM), reached by a steep dirt trail. Call us at 520.559.7827 to arrange a session. See the photo blind page under Stay for details.

No. Ramsey Canyon Inn is not an event venue and does not host weddings, receptions, or events. Registered lodging guests are welcome to enjoy the grounds for small personal moments during their stay — a quiet and intimate ceremony, or family photos — with registered guests only, no outside attendees, and no amplified music, in keeping with the quiet residential character of the canyon. Deposits are non-refundable within 7 days of check-in. Cancellations within 7 days of check-in are charged any remaining balance due on the reservation. On a case-by-case basis the owner may issue a credit or gift certificate for a portion of a pre-paid amount toward a future stay. Full details are on the policies page.

Tucson International (TUS) is the most convenient major airport, about 1.5 hours away. Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX) is about 3.5 hours with more flight options.

Unfortunately no — our lot has no room for RVs to park or turn around, and parking is limited to one average-size vehicle per room.

Yes. The Inn has both a Tesla connector and a standard J1772 charger, available to the Inn's guests for a small fee. Please let us know ahead of time so we can have it ready for you.

Yes, free high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi is available throughout all three properties.
